Two games in a roll they play like crap with under 20 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately they couldn't get that goal waved off which seems to be what saves them. Although I'm sure someone sneezed on Lundqvist during that play which in this series should be good enough for a 5 minute major.
Oh and can Drury get traded to Siberia already? If I'm Tom Renney I draw a big picture of him on my writing board with two Rangers sitting on him right after the puck gets dropped. Not sure how they let him get free like that. Oh yeah I forgot their heads were chopped off. Argh!

LOL! That was actually funny! Not bad, for a Rangers fan. :)
And yes, Buffalo is praying the Sabres keep Drury next season. Briere will most likely go, but I REALLY hope we can afford to keep Drury in the roster. |

I don't care anymore. I'm cheering for Ottawa now.
The Sharks can have me back next year. |

It's amazing that Chelios plays as much as he does. Isn't he 50? |

something like that... nah, he's 45. He also told Gordie Howe that he'd retire at 51, so Mr. Hockey can still be the longest playing NHL athlete. Howe Retired at 52.... |

IF they get passed the Sharks which is no given they have Pronger and Niedermayer waiting for them in the next round. Good luck with that! |

I'll say. The Wings are luckily just taking advantage of a team that can't seem to be able to play more than 20 minutes a night, and *STILL* barely win most nights. (Tonight was a very rare exception). 40 seconds between them being down 3 games to 1..
Anaheim, on the other hand, won't be a team that only plays 20 minutes a night. |

Oh wow, what a relief! I must say, I think every Buffalo fan has a LOT of respect for the Rangers, and what a series they gave us! On to Ottawa, and I hope the Sabres have a higher gear they've been saving for them. They're going to need it... |

I missed today's game but judging by the box score it looks like the Rangers folded. This series was lost in the 3rd period of game 2 and the 3rd period of game 5. You just can't blow leads late and expect to win. However, they played far better than I expected and certainly had their shot at the upset.
Clearly you can't beat the Sabres 5 on 5 so whoever does will have to do so on the powerplay and have elite goaltending. The Sens may have the powerplay but I don't think Ray Emery is the answer. Buffalo in 5 is my prediction. Hopefully they will get the Ducks in the finals so they can be tested again. Anyway, congrats to Buffalo.

For the *SIXTH* game in a row, the Sharks have come out, played 15 minutes worth of hockey, and then just inexplicably gave up.
I've never seen this in my life, and I can't for the life of me understand it. Have fun golfing idiots. |

Well there is still 2 periods left to play. Maybe they'll get in 10 more minutes worth of effort? |
