I received a postcard from Canon this week declining my rebate because it was postmarked after the offer end date. I know I sent it in on time.... I mailed it in February. I'm not sure why it took so long for it to be postmarked! The submission had to be postmarked by March 22nd and when I called Canon today they said mine was postmarked on March 26th. I even spoke to the supervisor and she said they're really strict about the postmark date and that they couldn't do anything about it. I'm so upset because I'm supposed to get $310 back. I called the corporate office and they said they̢۪d have the rebate department look my information over and get back to me within 24 hours. I hope I can get this figured out...

Canon's rebates are done by Young America. Young America denied me a rebate (on a non-Canon item) because of an expired postmark, however, the rebate period hadn't ended yet. I emailed the items manufacturer, and got the rebate.

That's good to hear that you were able to get your rebate. Thanks for your reply. I'll be sure to go through Canon and not Young America next time I call. I really hope I can get the rebate!
