Welcome Mad Shutters!! So far we have confirmed

snowflakejen,

SaraR and

digitalpins for season 5.

We need

DemonLlama and

TooCool to let us know if they are still interested.

We will be looking for 2 new members for sure (possibly 3-4).

Just got home from a week's business trip, and slowly trying to catch up with DPC - do we still need new team members? If so how about starting a new thread titled something like 'WPL5 - Team places available'? By the way, I assume that Jeni is going to act as our team captain now that Shutterpug has left.

Answer: When the season is announced (likely Monday, May 7th), the Free Agent Pool will be open to all, and previous-season participants will be given the opportunity to recreate their teams in the new system for the first two days. After the two day "invitational" sign-up period is over, the team creation system will then be open to all for the final 5 days of the first week. Upon "rollover" of the first week, all "finalized" teams (teams that have at least 5 team members who have accepted team invitations) will be placed into one of two leagues, one of four conferences within those leagues, and one of the numerous divisions within those conferences. The challenge announced after rollover will be the first challenge that kicks off the new season.

Lost me after 'placed into one of two leagues'... I guess at the end of the day, the only thing I really need to worry about is entering as many challenges as I can, and I shall leave you guys to explain how things work as we go along. I am feeling super-motivated at the moment as I won 2nd place in the York Photographic Society Small Prints Competition last night, along with a Highly Commended for a panel of three. Insert big smiley face here!

okay, if nobody wants to be a captain i'll step forward and take the responsibility. at least i will be awake and in front of the computer when the rollover happens :-), since midnight is 6:00AM here, and i'm at work at 9:00 (3:00AM EDT) ... if that means anything at all :-)
