Sorry, you're flat-out wrong. The content provider is the one who will get served a Cease and Desist notice to remove the content or face legal action.

You might get one _as well_, but since it's his site, he would be the one receiving legal threats for allowing it to be posted. Nothing would happen to him unless he refused to remove it, however.

Ok, away from codes and cracked software. I just wanted people to be aware that even though you buy a very expensive suite from Adobe that gives a free upgrade you are out of luck until the entire package is released even tho individual parts of the package are available now. They won't even allow a beta, trial or temporary license. That is what I feel is not good business. Especially when their suggestion is to go buy the individual programs from a retailer and return it within 30 days for a refund then keep doing this until the package is released. That is not honest at all and came from Adobe customer service.

The BETA was not the trial.

There will be a trial but it has not been released. And yea the beta expired.

I'm not sure why it would be "not good business". You bought a package that doesn't exist yet. Yes, the components exist, but they are sold individually, and each of them requires a separate serial number and activation, whereas your product requires a single serial and activation.

That's how all software companies work, in my experience. You get what you paid for - no more, no less.

I asked as nicely as I was capable for others not to anger me.
Clearly (unless you're an idiot) I have no intention of posting any links leading to illegal things.
I was told not to post it, and so I didn't.
End of fricken story.
But nope.
People seem to enjoy pissing me off today.

I apologize to the creator of this thread.
But, had I not been provoked, nothing would've happened.

As I said before, I do believe the trials are gone because of people finding ways to continue using them without paying.
I could be wrong about that, but it seems most plausible.

Joe, it's your posts that rapidly became combative. No one was directing anything at you personally; rather, they were pointing out that your behavior was really not civil at all. You chose to take all of the posts very personally. I'd recommend taking a break, and looking at the thread again when you're in a less irritable mood.

come on bud. a key generator that would make you not have to pay $300.00 for a program not being illegal? not very logical to be posting that to a public site, especially one as large as DPC.

i swear kids these days with their "know it all" attitudes. they all tend to tote cameras and become members of this site too, what a coincidence.

B-J: I have two questions:

1. Why should posting an excerpt from the site TOS "upset" you? It's something you are supposed to have read already.

2. Do you think you're the only one who might think of posting a link to a code-cracker? This is a public thread, not a private note to you; in fact, I don't see where I referred to you at all.

My responsibility is to help keep the site running smoothly and within the law, and to try and help members use it effectively. How do you think reading your response made me feel?

Actually, usually if beta software it released it is usually discontinued and or removed upon the release of the final shipping version. Adobe did this with the beta of PS CS3 that everyone was talking about and its also common for the trial software of the final shipping version to be released a month or two after the product starts shipping. Being the second largest software publisher in the world (second only to microsoft) I highly doubt that they would pull links off their site because of warez users with cracks as by the time the first shipped disk is opened there are already thousands of illegitimate copies being shared over the internet.

I'm not making any personal attacks here and frankly with your attitude today I'm sure I'm not the only one here that doesn't really give a hoot if your pissed or not, I'm pointing out not only to you but who ever else that warez are not welcome on sites like this and clearing the air on the Beta and Trial release differences.

I've been on warez sites connected to DS3 pipes, puhlease. The reason we're treating you like a kid is because you're acting like a typical idiot teenager.
