Nope...skipped the free study, I got burned on the last one. 5.4 score! Taking a break from that one.

I decided on the Pi...I just didn't feel like my symmetry had enough...well, symmetry...at least, not for the puritan's around here.

Just concentrating on the Dr. Seuss...that ones going to be fun to see!

I'm in symmety....Hope it does well. It is a simple composition with good symmetry so I think it will score 6. Here are my current scores:

CONGRATS JASON!! Excellent entry and a wonderful placement! Jason...you are on fire!

So glad bubbles is done:

Bubbles II
Avg. 5.6016

Current score on the Pi (at least it's not 3.1415!!!):

Pi
Ave. 5.8000

Freda...no worries!! Having fun...that's why were here.

Thanks Terri! It feels really great to have a top 10, but I really didn't like that photo that much! I mean I knew it would do good on DPC, but I'm sad that it bumped "Mary Grace" from my profile page. It may be a PB, but it isn't a PF (personal favorite). LOL.

Freda, I know it is fun to submit some off the wall shots every now and then and I think it will be OK even when team play starts because we can submit two and take the best scoring one. Even though by Rule of Thirds did so well, I still wished I would have submitted bubbles :)

Free Study is in a free fall....I thought my symmetry would be more DPC friendly and score in the mid 6s but it has started off slow. I should have known better because I actually like that shot..heheheh.

Oh and Terri, 5.6 is great and 62nd place is an accomplishment here on DPC! The average score for bubbles was 5.40637. I really liked your entry and I think it should have done even better than that!

Sports...really not up my alley! Although, I have one idea that I may work on.

The cultural event is just not working for me...the one thought I had was a Pow Wow...their are several Native American Reservations around here that do them...but, I checked the schedule and nothing until mid-May. I guess, I'll concentrate on Dr. Seuss and maybe sports.

To Freda's Cats: Run, very fast, be very afraid...HIDE NOW!!! LOL

i don't want to look and check for the updating scores everytine i log in here this week! *waw!!!! shouting covering mouth with pillow!* no one hears me. :D heheheh
05/02/2007 10:08:01 AM · #369
LOL Freda! I turned mine off a couple weeks ago for the same reason but that lasted about 6 hours...I just had to peak!

05/02/2007 10:42:45 AM · #370
Freda...put the mouse down...step away from the update button! Have a seat and breath deep. It will be fine. Maybe a little meditation. Think "zen".

I do believe there is group therapy for people addicted to their score update:

"Hi...I'm Terri...I am a score update-aholic"

"Hi Terri"

"It's been two hours since the last time I checked my score"

Onar, I loved your rule of thirds shot.

So tell me, was this a bike race or a lone rider? Great capture either way.
05/02/2007 12:54:06 PM · #373
Oh never mind, I just read your comments on the photo....Great job.
05/02/2007 01:56:59 PM · #374
Thanks Jason .
I think Holland has a lot of beautiful places like that, and if you were there you would take the same shot

"I Freda, confess turning on the update button
for the challenges scores after less than 4 hours.
I should not submitting a photo into a challenge when
my head blank and especially when
I have no idea of what I shoot "

GUILTY

*sigh...*

I may get BROWN RIBBON for my symmetry..
a brown ribbon!! waw waw!!
