Oh no, do my comments read as though I'm high, that would be fine if I'd ever had the pleasure but...damn I hate commenting, it makes me feel stupid and vulnerable. However seeing as you asked and a wander through you're portfolio is always a pleasure I'll find some time today to comment on something and I'll try really hard to sound sane.

Okay, Jeffrey levyj413 just left me a comment asking WHAT I put in my cat's food. LOL. Does he look constipated or something? Please elaborate, oh Jeffrey-san!

Are his eyes usually that big? :) He looks either like you just stepped on his tail or offered him a big treat.

Jeffrey, I'm laughing as I'm typing. He is uber-curious, even for a cat. He loves any light - anything moving- and had just been chasing his own tail. And he does have enormous eyes anyway.

btw I'm VERY happy to announce that hywind has expressed an interest in joining Team Suck!

I would not have pegged him for sucking, but I do think his attitude and good nature would fit in well here. Any team have space for him?
05/01/2007 11:16:11 PM · #1435
also, I *love* that he contacted me soon after getting his highest score ever!

The golden brigade has an opening.

Truegsht is lost in space - switch him out to Zombie land?

Should I make these changes for this week's results?

He's currently in Team Minus, at least last I checked. Should I move him?

Truegsht has been moved. Any objections to hywind being dropped on the golden brigade?

While I should be reading some of Bear_Music's tutorials on photoshop basics, or getting things done at home, instead I've been learning enough perl to make doing the results threads even easier. The only manual parts now are keeping the team memberships right and actually posting the results in the other thread.

I've been missing in action - life got kind of hectic, and we're now entering that time of year in which my husband and I leave for Strawberry practically every weekend and more often when possible, but where Ihave no computer.

Anyway - couldn't help but celebrate - new personal best. Rule of Thirds.

Me doing the happy dance!

Of course, to balance that, I have not entered a challenge since...:-(

Congrats on the PB!
It's a very interesting shot because it seems like the bottom lump part is a reflection, at first, but then of course it isn't.

Is there anyone who isn't voting in the Free Study who woud like to convert something to a print-acceptable dpi for me?
05/02/2007 02:41:03 AM · #1450
I wholeheartedly support accepting hywind as a Team Suck member! Brian is a very supportive DPC'er whom I "met" via SandyP. He leaves thoughtful, HONEST comments on pictures. He'll let you know what he likes, what he doesn't and why. Great guy all around, and a very good friend to Sherpet, which ranks high in my book, too.

Oh, and I didn't get a comment from Dan on my triptych. I do have several on it that say "good idea, but..." regarding execution. I agree it could have been executed better, but probably would have required some other photog to do so. I gave it my best shot.

And how 'bout that 12% finish in Rule of Thirds? :-)
