Smugmug says I'm at 99,902 image views so far for the month of April. I've never crossed the 100,000 view mark before. It's so close this time, I just might make it.

So go on ... hit me! :-)

I went and looked briefly; nice catch with the baby sticking out her tongue.
Ohhh, Moab and Arches...I was there a few years ago just before getting my first digital camera. I'd love to get back there.

Is it like Blackjack? Do you lose if you go over 21? :)

I love that shot. It's like she's already giving her daddy a hard time! :-)

I went there for the first time last year with DPC. I'm going again this weekend with a different photography group (Intermountain Professional Photographers Association - IPPA). It'll be interesting to see how "differently" the two groups are handled. I fear that last year's event has probably set my expectations far too high. The scenery, on the other hand, can't be beat.

Wait a minute...you live in SLC and last year was your first visit?
With your skills, you should get there as often as possible.

When my wife and I visited Arches, that was the first location of many: Capitol Reef, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert. We'll have to wait until our kids are a little older before we get back there...

Sad, but true. My mom grew up in Moab. Guess they just never got around to taking me there, nor did I get around to taking my own family. (at least my son went with me last year)

I've lived in Brazil. I've visited many other states. I guess it's as if Moab is too far for a day trip, but not far enough for a longer visit.

They say "unlimited storage". I figure I'll keep uploading until they tell me that they didn't really mean "unlimited". :-)

Truth is, smugmug functions as an off-site backup for any images I've shot for customers. That way, even if my house burns down, I still have access to my customers' images.

Still climbing ... and probably about to be reset sometime soon (not sure what time zone smugmug's servers are in). Here are the latest stats:

photos uploaded: 26,952
disk space used: 103.63 GB
photos viewed: 102,077 (this month)
bandwidth used: 3.77 GB (out of 1 PB)

Thanks for the views. I know it doesn't much matter (the stats simply reset with nothing further to track them). But I thought it was kind of fun to see it top 100,000 views.
