...it doesn't have my name under it. They printed an article about an exhibit the photograpy club that I'm in is doing next month, and the guy who wrote the press release asked me for one of the pictures I'll have up there, so I sent him this one. Not sure how the names got lost, or if it was intentional. I'm pretty psyched about it anyway. I've had two other photos taken by me published in other papers, but buried somewhere in the middle and a tiny picture.

Oh, if you're in the Farmington area, be sure to drop by the Civic Center during may, or even this Friday between 6 and 8 for the reception. There's food. And join our club while you're at it. |

Hey congrats, best thing to do is just contact the editor and they will print a fix for you adding your name.. Shouldn't be that big of deal... I lived three years in farmington back in the 90s, decent area. Congrats again.

Congrats to ya!
I was in mid and upper NM in Oct, and found the state to be a great place for photography. That is an excellent landscape image that you had published. They should at least add your name to the web page.

| If you call the paper and report the err they do print corrections. (if you're lucky they will print the correction with the photo again!) CAn't wait to see the show..... I wasn't able to be in it this time, unfortunately. |

Hmm. Well, we'll see. I'd love to work for the paper at least occasionally, maybe if I shoot an event they might want to cover I'll send them the pictures from it, then I'll worry about getting credit for it.
They just put 'Courtesy photos for the Daily times' or something in the article.
Cristy, It's a shame you won't have any of your stuff in there this time, are you going to do the October one? |
