I just got my macro lens today in the mail and was out shooting some pictures. I haven't really gotten use to using it yet so any advice and C&C would be really appricated! I know there pretty small, I'm on dial up so it takes forever to upload photos.

Edited to say the lens is a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro.

its a fun lens isnt it ;)

my one tip for you is that i have found it sooo much help to shoot with a tripod for macros, doing them handheld is just too hard. It also helps to get that extra bit of sharpness that you see on a lot of the dpc macro shots.

Nice pictures! You will enjoy that lens, I have it and I love it. For what it's worth, I rarely use a tripod and my pics come out nice and sharp.

I must be 1/3 normal. I use a monopod most of the time for macro. : )
It isn't quite as stable, but most of the subjects are in motion with the breeze, and the monopod allows me to move around easily and get many more images in the same shooting time.
