I have a Tiffen Megaplus 2x TC that takes pretty good pics if you are far enough away to have to zoom all the way out. I was looking at 5x teleconverters but the only thread size is 37mm. My cam is only a 41mm barrel so I don't think that should be too huge a problem. Anyone ever tried that or think that it might be a big problem?

2nd question - In regards to wide angle lenses, would it be better to stay with 37mm like the TC I'm looking at, or go to a larger size. I currently have a 43mm tube and a 52mm tube. If I get the aforementioned teleconverter, I'll also have a 37mm tube. I'm guessing in this case bigger is better, but I don't know how much distortion would be involved. Is there a rule somewhere about this or an article about it?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks - Bob
