I just reached 10,000 profile image views, and wanted to thank everyone who has looked through my portfolio and given me their comments, suggestions, and support. This is only 10k views for all of my portfolio... I'm not at the level to get that many views for one image (yet!), although almost 30% of my views are of one image.
Anyways, I hope that I am able to post more images, submit more contest entries, and give people a reason to continue browsing through my portfolio. Maybe I'll become a better photographer in the process. That's my goal, at least. Thanks again. Asim |

I could bust your balls and say your a better photographer, you have been here longer and i still have as many views as you.
But of course i would never do that it would just plain be rude.
Congrats I actually had to go check on myne i never payed that much attention. Look at how many images i have looked at.... not many! |

hi Asim, nice to reach that milestone. I know when I hit that many it was quite overwhelming to believe that your pictures had been viewed that many times, I think I am only at the 40k mark myself.
as for Rainmotorsports, ignore him, the only reason he has had so many views is because he feels the need to post to every single thread on DPC and as a result will always achieve more profile views/image views. I mean, he has made 1870 posts on the forums since December for f**ks sake. |

Lol just because i spend alot of time on here. What do my posts have todo with image views? Just becasue i post doesnt mean you have to click on my profile and wander about. The majority of my posts dont have images, id say maybe 10% do id have to go back and check. Lack of a history or post by user search makes that next to impossible to find them all. I hardly thing 10 to 12 posts a day divide among 4 or 5 threads counts as posting on every single thread, im just here every single day.
If posts equaled image views then
Agaisnt Asim is have 20,000 image views not 10,000.
versus you id have what 80,000.
Just using divison among posts and image views.Then again you have to account for the time the length of time, and your ribbons that helps boost views. And if you have friends that like to see what your up to... that has alot more todo with image views then posts.
Last i checked i had no issues with ASIM, i was just playing around then someone whos been here forever comes in and get signorant. You might have seen what i said as ignorant but i was just playing around and i worded it carefully as for NO ONE to take it seriously.

I put the answer to all that in a PM, seeing as how this has nothing todo with ASIM anymore and well i have nothing else to say to ASIM.
I'd love to say more but other then I have one of his pictures on my favourites list and have for probly a month. I dont go digging around his portofolio so like 5of those views are from me lol. |

One the way home (no car) i actually thought a bit about it. You do seem to take alot of pride in your work. If you remeber the PM/Emails about me selecting the one photograph as a favorite.
In spirit its a good thing and taking pride in your work is something i wish i could do. However ive currently adepted doing fake multiple exposures using a black cloth during a timed exposure to reposition things and finish the exposure with ghost's and ghost objects. SO hopefully i come up with something interesting soon enough. |
