over Easter and the following week, we made a trip to florida. it wasn't a typical trip (ie, theme parks and the like); it was more of a visit-relatives-and-hang-out-trip. all the same, i managed to grab a few shots here and there that i thought i'd share...
enjoy ;-) |

Great shots, Skip. Looks like it was a fun trip all around (just wish you could have stayed another week or two) :D
Your kids sure are getting big!

These are some great pics. Can you tell me what camera did you use and what lenses? I'm looking for buying a DSLR and I still do not know which one will fit well for traveling, as well for home use. Your pics just look great!

Great shots Skip. When I mentioned in the St. Augustine GTG thread that I was going to leave a couple of days early to drive around Florida firs, this is what I was talking about. However, about 40 miles into my trip I realized that I left my underwater housing at home, and besides, my trip was full of visits with friends along the way.
I go to Itchetucknee Springs almost every June and I also go to nearby Sante Fe River while I'm in the area. My family rents cabins on the Suwannee River and we go kayaking on the Itchetucknee River and tubing on the Sante Fe River. The Santa River is just as clear as the springs in your pictures and is a great way to spend a hot summer day.
The candid shots really stand out especially this one...
I see you are still having fun with that fisheye lens that you were waving in our faces at the GTG. I still haven't gotten one, but it's next on my list.
