WOW! That's a lot...and to think mine are among them. Makes me grin a little.

How long were you sitting around waiting for the right moment to upload that ... or did you just upload 20 copies in a ZIP file when the count got close? (That was my plan, but I'm still tweaking the sunrise photo I was going to use.)

Your image is probably more suitable anyway -- thanks : )

eh - moi? a zip file? with 20 50 copies in it?
uploaded to a temp folder in my workshop and delete the extras?
Now that would require planning....

Considering there isn't another photo showing up all the way back until 499901 he must have started early.

Oh darn - I must have uploaded that zip file twice.
ROFL

Well, only 13 images too late ... two versions

I wonder if we'd both uploaded ZIP files at the same time ... the one which unstuffed fastest would win. So, probably a file with 5-10 copies uploaded repeatedly would be the best strategy : )

that's funny cause I just uploaded two and when I saw the number (500015 and 500016) I wondered if that was the total number of images on the site or what...guess now I know.

It's the total which have been uploaded to portfolios or as entries, but they are not all still hosted here -- some have been removed.

Heh... I just noticed that the image I uploaded last night for a challenge missed the mark by only single digits.
We're about 12 days early based on a model I ran a couple months ago (I predicted May 1). Though it took more than five years for the first half million, it should take less than two years for the second half.

Would love to have a buck for each of those.... ;)
That's great!

That is because Brad uploaded 100 pictures within only a few minutes.
