I write letters to docs about patients that they refer to me. If I want a shortcut key to enter a line of text that I generally have in my letters, would that be done with a macro or is there another tool to simply do that? (ie. if I hit Ctrl-Shift-T it automatically types the text "blah blah blah")
DPC is my personal wikipedia. People know everything here.

| Yeah just create a Macro and assign what ever keys you want to trigger the macro. That's how I would do it. :-) |

Just go to menu: Insert/autotext, and play with the options.
You could set up all those phrases and just insert them from there. You could even send that option to the menu bar.
Hope it helps. |

Use the Auto Text tab, not the auto correct. Then you just start typing whatever it is you normally write and it gives you the option of completing the rest
