Kelli, I still love ya. :-)
And this still is a) an awesome shot, and b) makes me smile. Heck, it makes me laugh out loud.

My Landscape entry is in. This should be fun, going up against all the expert editors with their fabulous landscapes. :D |

I didn't go anywhere near any expert editing. I think I may have used a blending mode on a layer so at least I took a stab at advanced. :-) Here's to Suckers against the experts! |

Yep, and I just added it to my faves, as I did with this shot from Skewsme:

Kitchenware?? What? I think I'll have to pass on this one...unless...

I ain't got no stinkin' 6's right now, either :-)
Night: 5.81
Insects: 5.54
Better than I expected for both, actually. They aren't anything to write home about, that's for sure.
Kitchenware? Does anyone have any ideas? I'm drawing a big fat blank so far. |

Hey everybody thanks for the comments on my new shots, I think I'll try the border and see how that works...
I went hunting landscapes yesterday but was completely uninspired, but I did happen to wander down in the old industrial section of town and found some kinda neat stuff there...have a look if you like.

If you don't shoot kitchenware, then at least go rent the movie "Stripes." There's a funny scene involving certain kitchen implements used in ... novel ways. Hey, Deb, it's set in Germany! :)

Wow, I just came home and found a bunch of new comments from you guys! Thanks!! I will be returning the favor soon. I'm hoping to move out of my funk real soon and commence with the comment giving and the entering. Just be a little more patient with me. Between the rain (currently have about 8 inches of water in the basement and a small lake in my yard) and the cold (it was actually snowing here this morning) I can't seem to break out of my winter shell. This is nuts! It should be 70 degrees here by now! |

We are having a stubborn Nor'easter that seems to not want to go away. It started Saturday night and is not slated to actually leave until I think they said Wednesday. Lots of flooding all over the state (and the "acting" governer declared a state of emergency). It does seem like it will never end. Yet I think it was December we had a couple 70 or so days. All my poor flowers are dead of frost bite or drowned. None of the cherry trees are blooming. It's just so depressing. Even my dogs don't want to go out! |
