Ok, I only had a couple numbers on my Powerball ticket this week, so there's no $260 million for me. But one of the winning tickets was sold near where I live. In fact, I used to live within a mile of the 7-11 in Cranberry Township, PA.
I stopped by last night and took a couple shots of the hoopla once they announced that a winning ticket had been sold there.
I also bought a ticket at the same machine that printed the winning one in hopes that "lighting could strike twice" here :)
I might add that on the way to work this morning, I stopped there again to buy some lucky gas for the car, and I am now drinking a lucky Mt. Dew from that store. I'm anticipating a really nice Friday as a result of all these lucky vibes...!

Dumb Dumb. What you really should have bought are lucky condoms. Not too late; just pick some up on your way home.

Gezz Alan I had held you in such high esteem only to hear you say this.
You sound like my wife who only buys her lucky tickets from the lucky store down the street and rubs them with her lucky quarter. Of course this is after she has pillaged my unlucky wallet and drained our unlucky bank account. Hmm if the two cancel each other out maybe we can break even.. Woo Hoo!!

Woo hoo... I just found myself in our local newspaper! Be prepared to be dazzled.

I'm the dork in the jeans walking into the store, behind the guy in the blue shirt. |

Alan don't you just wish that was your ticket that won.
At least it was sold at a 7/11 and not a Sheetz store. I couldn't have handled another Steve Sheetz commercial telling the region why Sheetz's are better. Or doesn't he market the Pittsburgh area the way he does Altoona, Johnstown and State College? |

Yeah, I could have probably done a good thing or two with that kind of money... like buy every DPC'er a nice, 600mm f2 lens, or something!
When I heard that the winning ticket came from Cranberry, I was really figuring it was from the Sheetz there, actually (and come to think of it, I bought my losing tickets at Sheetz).
No, we don't get much of any advertising for Sheetz in Pittsburgh, even though there are tons of them around. They do a lot of billboard advertising, but I guess the TV time is out of their budget here.
