Not for profit. I took this one in my Food Styling class last year. I am also a chef, but not for nearly the amount of time that Steve has been....

Pawdrix - where do you work? I've been meaning to get back to you about going out someday to shoot. And now the weather's getting better it could be more possible (although it's darned cold at the moment). Or next time you do a food shoot, can I come and join you? Or even better, I'll come to where you work and have a bite to eat!

Hey Steve, I just googled your bio site. GREAT photos and the piano was very soothing. Thanks for sharing.

Now, y'all mean to tell me those food photos with only a small area in focus is what folks want to see? Just looked at a Southern Cooking mag. at the drugstore a while ago and all but one of the foodieo shots at least 65% of the frame was in focus and most of the remainder was easily recognisable. Maybe it's a Southern thing.
I was only trying to do what only a best friend would do.....tell you that you had spinach in your teeth or you have bad breath or something. Just trying to fill in until one of your good friends came along.
Sorry Steve. David

David-I appreciate your concern. I do. However you don't need to worry about me, I'm doing fine. If you don't like the images or don't understand them, that is absolutely fine. I can live with that, believe me it's not a problem.

If you were the one paying for the work, I would address your issue's but you're not, so it's all good, as far as I can see. This is about pleasing my Art Director and my client which I'm sure you can understand.

Again, Food & Wine, Gourmet Magazine...maybe some high end cookbooks (current releases, of course) might clear things up. Study them closely. Don't look for a few pix that make your point and move on. Look deeper.

Cheers,
Steve
