I took photos last night at a club. I turned on my SB-600 speedflash and the LED light kept blinking .Any one else with this speedflash had this issue??? |

| Was it firing? Sounds like it might have gotten switched into slave mode ... two LEDs in the meter area blink in that situation. The manual will explain how to switch it back to normal. |

I have had my sb-600's do some strange things. But I do not recall the LED ever flashing like that. I think Creature might be on to something with the slave mode.

| I lost my manual. Can anybody explain to me how to get it off Slave Mode?? I just dont want to be at a event and it just go out on me. I am a little nervous. This Blinking light is getting on my nerve. Thanks a whole lot. |

| Hold down the zoom button and '-' button at the same time for two seconds. This brings up your custom settings menu. Use the + and - buttons to cycle through the different options. You'll get to one that just has a squiggly arrow and it will either say off or on. Hitting mode will switch between the two and make sure it is off. |

| On my SB-80DX it blinks if the flash was not powerful enough to light up the object. It measures how much light bounces of the object and comes back to the camera, if the quantity of light that reaches the camera is not big enough the red light blinks. |
