I recommend a little place known as DPC Prints!! I know they go up to 20x30 in regular aspects, and I've seen 'em as big as 12x36 in panoramic. Quality is superior, and service is wonderful. Quick turnaround and reasonable shipping, too! DPC Prints all the way!

I have a 12" x 60" Pano available in my portfolio - can you imagine the base price is $12.00! That rocks! I haven't ordererd a print of it myself yet but ALL of my other prints are incredible from DPC Prints. DPC PRINTS MAKES ME LOOK GOOD!

On the other hand, I did have an emergency print job that I took to our local Ritz affiliate the other day. I got 6 4x6 prints for $18.00. That's because I couldn't wait a day to get them so they printed them on 8.5 x 11 sheets at 9.00 per sheet.

joanns - what's amazing to me is that you are only charging $15 for it! Not much profit for the artist of a really wonderful image!

I'm going for volume:)actually, I had a friend buy it and I set the price low for him. If you want to buy it, let me know and I'll set the price to, what, $60? LOL

Thank you for your compliment. It is 11 individual shots stitched together with Panorama Factory.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, I wouldn't mind if I'm only having to do that for a photo or two. But when I have 50 to 100 photos I want printed straight out of the camera its kind of a pain. I will still support DPC Prints for smaller orders like one to ten photos but if I need a lot I'll have to take my business elsewhere. Besides it seems DPC Prints is more geared for people to sell there prints anyway than your average consumer. That's just my take on it.

I did a prom for a small high school and was in this exact situation. AND, I'm on dial up. Making a thumbnail was a neglible step. Especially if you consider that if it is not for sale, the thumbnail could be 1x1. :-) Given the stress of the situation, adn the work that was involved, I would use DPC for this service again. I actually used WalMart for the "proofs" (cause I needed them immediately), and they looked like typical prints from digital cameras. I have had one print done out of store, and it was okay. Like nards656(my husband) said, so far DPC has had better prints and faster service -- we have always had our prints in a week (but we are relatively close to the printer, so that may not be true of everyone.)

Of course, if you want to use Ritz, I am not going to stop you. I don't even want you to think that I am trying to make you "feel bad" for considering it. I just don't like Ritz that much, but that is another thread. >:(

I'm lucky to have a Wolf Camera two doors down from where I work. I have been most pleased with every image I have had them print for me.

I live in Australia--- and it is STILL cheaper for me to order a bunch of prints off of DPC, and have them shipped, and pay in $USD, than to have them done here! Of course I have to wait two weeks to get them.

Any aussies have a cheap place? I was going to pay $9 ($6 US) for an 8x10 in Melbourne here--- and they took 5 days to do it, so I abandoned it there and am not going back. (There is a big gap in this kind of service here-- for anyone who lives here and has some start up cash)
