I have two issues. One could easily get me in trouble.

Issue One: My brother Vincent created my account and used his birthday as my own. I didn't catch it until just now. My age is now set to fourteen; my age. Am I too young to be here?

Issue Two: I may have another account on this site. If so, I don't remember the name or the password and if someone with administrative rights can find this account, feel free to delete it. I have most definitely not used this account to enter challenges, but I might have voted with it. I had no other account at the time that I had this account. Perhaps one could find it if I privately gave them my IP address?

I thought I'd bring my faults to the surface. Please keep the criticism to a low, if at all possible. If any person of power seems to think I should leave and not come back, feel free to say so.

My reason for creating this topic was the fact that I didn't want to get in trouble for holding another account here. If the mistake can be corrected, that would be absolutely awesome. If not, goodbye. It's been fun. =/

I suggest go to Help -> Contact Us and open a ticket with SC, they'll make everything right for you.

:)

Okay. Didn't think of that.
Thanks. =)

A stand-up attitude you have Joe, it's to be commended.

Oh gosh I'm nervous. What if they decide I have to leave? =(
Ah well.. I've contacted them.
I hope I don't get in too much trouble.

I have serious doubts it will come to that, they're an understanding lot.

:)

That's good.. I'm still nervous though.
XD
I really like this site. It's like no other. It'd be cruddy if they had me leave.

They are understanding guys. They will make this right.

Well that definitely makes me feel better. I'd hate to leave when I'm just now learning about photography. I mean, I knew how to take a picture before, but this is the stuff that I'm going to need if I ever want to make a career out of landscape photos..

They may be understanding...

...but I heard through the grapevine that SC will prolly make you do 50 push ups, or run one good DPC mile (which equals 5 miles), or give your next 5 challenge images to charity.

Don't worry kid, just relax, 5 miles is pretty short when you think about it.

Haha.. I think ten pushups would kill me.. I might be able to finish the running though.

Welcome Joe :-)
14 is most definitely NOT too young! If you search the forums, I believe there are several threads about our younger users. Some awesome talent there too. Dig up those threads, and check out the profiles of some of those guys, you may find it inspiring :-)

Welcome :)
I'm fourteen, and I think I was twelve when I registered. DPC is a fun place to be!

=)) Now I don't feel so alone.
People don't take me seriously just because I'm younger. It isn't easy buying equipment with a weekend dishwasher's salary either. =(
However.. I could definitely improve.. My images suck..

the best way to improve is to cary a camera everywhere, and shoot shoot shoot! that, and look at lots of art (not just photography) to try to understand how it's made.

it's a wonderful way to live, being a photographer. keep it up, and i'm looking forward to seeing you work!

I know what you mean. Usually the DPC crowd is good about that kind of stuff, though. And you'll definitely improve here. Take a look at joey lawrence's and elsapo's portfolios; they've done some awesome stuff.

Heh. I always have my camera with me. Problem is, I keep breaking them. Notice the odd amount of cameras in my profile. Over half of those are broken due to my stupid clumsiness.
I hope I learn something here.

I've seen Joey Lawrence's stuff. That guy is amazing. I bet he's already making big bucks. =)
