On Wednesday I did a shoot in the park with Angela. We had a blast! This is one of my favorites from the collection. I'd love some critiques. I am still processing the hundreds of shots I got that day, so I'll post more as I finish them. There are also a few of her I've used for the 30 day magic challenge, if'n you're so inclined to have a look. ;o)

It is fun isn't it. They generally look good. Great location. Poses are above average. The only thing I might mention is the skin tone. In both images, the skin is a little too bright. It actually distracts me from spending more time on the image. Do you see what I am saying? It could be just a personal thing...Also, consider varying your sharpness/DOF throughout the image in order to keep the eye steady on the model.

While the are all terrific pictures, I really like your B&W, though maybe just posed her slightly to the right more so the tree isn't directly behind her. Still, I like that photo a lot.

Thanks Jayson! I was thinking the same thing...trees shouldn't grow out of peoples' heads. :oP
