well... its spring break, and ive been bored so i decided to hollow out a lightbulb and take some shots of it. Despite being very difficult to light ... i ended up with something im pretty happy with :)

what do you guys think?

I like it, it's interesting. How did you add the drippy thing?

its from this photos

i just threw it on its own layer and erased most of the drop image, the key was to get the bottom of the drop black so that it would blend in better with the lightbulb photo.

Usually, stories that begin with "well... its spring break, and ive been bored so i decided to hollow out a lightbulb" end up in the Darwin Awards, so I'm glad this isn't one of those. :-) I really like how those shots came out, Dan.

ahh well umm i guess i wont tell you guys what my original idea for the photo was :D

I like the shot, both of them. I wonder if you could PP something back to the base of the bulb to make it look like an unaltered bulb. No big deal but just an idea.
