I'm quite happy with my spinning entry, and while more comments are always appreciated, this thread isn't about that specific entry.

Rather, I had a few choices, and I'm curious whether people would've liked other "poses" better. I liked the face down view better, but there's something to be said for twirly facial features, too.

The impact comes from more than just the pose, of course, including position within the frame and processing, but what do you think?

Original for my entry:

Other poses, including my other daughter.

Here's the entry, in case you're interested:

Have you tried to edit this one. I think I like it better.

Maybe rotate it 90CCW

I actually like the shot you entered best - and the vivid editing makes it really stand out.

I adore rope swings though - to the extent that some of my wedding photos were taken with me sitting in one at my grandparents - wedding dress and all !

This one is my favorite as well. I think the facial expression is awesome and really helps add life and emotion.

I stand by what I said. You made all the right decisions. I hope the typical DPC critiques you are getting don't "teach" you anything.

*grin* Don't worry, Don. It's all additional feedback that I'll consider, not slavishly follow. I mean, heck, I entered the one I liked best.

Actually, if I could've had the expression in the one Kelly and Linda liked, but with the composition in my entry, that would've been my ideal.

Yup!! The composition of your entry is definitely wonderful.
