Just a quick question. After you resize your photos do you sharpen them before uploading them to DPC???
I think that is part of the problem as to why some people are seeing my photos as slightly blurry. I never sharpen before uploading a low res version. |

I always sharpen after resizing. I think most people do.

Always sharpen, resize, sharpen. Then save for web. The 2nd sharpening I use just one pass of Sharpen then fade it back to about 30% for DPC size; but other people prefer other methods.

I typically dont sharpen but occasionally will run an unsharpen mask on the final.

I have just recently started to sharpen after resizing and I see a HUGE difference in the pics uploaded. |

Okay so that is part of my problem. I didn't realize the huge difference until I was just resizing a photo for PD and when I sharpened it, I noticed a huge difference in the quality of it. Sharpening it at full size doesn't help it, but as a low res...sharpening works miracles for it. |
