| so im clear on something, the exposure date is fine as long as itts between 12:01 am on the first day of announcement and 11:59pm of the day the submissions end right? |

yep, or even 12:00:01 and 11:59:59.

this happened not long ago. it came out 2 hrs late or so and drew said we *gasp* only had 6 days, 22 hrs left! haha

I don't think I can hold out until 2am. I have a busy day of sitting on my arse ahead of me. Need to get some sleep. Off to bed now, it's 1am. I have to think of a Nude and Temperature photo anyway.

it was the speed challenge that was late coming out...

Ah, now there's my next challenge - take a picture at exactly 12:00:00 and make it fit the challenge - not knowing what the challenge will be! But... which challenge would it belong to? ;-) |

Heheh.
The challenge will remain hidden to prevent undue discussion about what is and isn't acceptable in the entries. This will prevent the voters from becoming biased before they even start voting.
The entries will also remain hidden during voting to prevent complaints of 'too many shots of X', or 'shots of Y don't really meet the challenge'.
I think this a great idea. It can only boost creativity ; )

Just cause it said Drew was on, doesn't mean he was actually anywhere even near his computer. Tuesday night is a fairly new night for the challenges to start, and I think they just haven't gotten quite used to it yet. It's was most likely just a slip, and when they wake up, I'm sure they will realize and set a challenge. Yes, D and L are the only ones that can do this. It'll show up, don't worry.
