Woo hoo! My first submission review! Okay, I have no idea why I am excited but I am. I know I have nothing to fear so I guess I am almost flattered someone had to stop and ask the question: "How did he/she do that?"

The wish list is a bit over the top cause I know I don't think I would really want this hangin in my house, but who am I to complain. (But then if Deb is reading this post then she knows exactly who I am to complain - 1783).

How do you score a photo where the photographer evidently misunderstood the meaning of anachronism?

I am very pleased with my score and the comments are all very nice but it seems some people aren't getting thing anachronism. I know what it means, and I thought mine to be clear but I guess I didn't spell it out enough.

To me all of the comparison photos are not an anachronism. I don't know. Is that too harsh on my voting? I think puting something new and something old next to eachother is not the same as something misplaced in time. And that is the bulk of the photographs.

Just a hair over 4.0.

Mine is one of the comparisons - and a poorly done one at that. I forgot about this challenge until 9pm last night !

But if there is something old and something new next to eachother on a plain background... then which really is the intended anachronism? There is no setting to give perspective.

Fresh out of retirement...Avg Vote: 5.4259

I just looked at the entries and now I understand why my score is so low. I foolishly met the Challenge. Pretty big pile of DNMC's...or simple missunderstandings of the word to plow through.

I'll admit that my anachronism could have had a greater context but it's beyond clear that my subject is out of a different time and place.

Just an opinion but I don't see this Challenge as a set-up type of thing. IMHO there are maybe 6-7 that meet the Challenge.
