I like the featured photo 'joke' - nice one guys...
Especially effective on the image of mine that I see.... which I actually have always considered unfairly bombed... Aha I thought... recognition at last! :-)
Not so funny is the scores dropping by 0.5 averages... isn't April Fools over by Noon...
I was gutted that my first decent score for ages was suddenly in a nose dive... I'd be laughing
at this now.. if only my score was back to normal! |

Would have been nice to see the ribbon shots changed on the front page to instead show those ribbon winner's worst pics. That would have been funny.

OK, so it's not just me.
My score was at 5.78 and had been trending up for the previous dozen or so votes ,and suddenly overnight, I get 24 votes that average less than a three score!
Something's up.
SC where are you on this?
I can accept the possibility that I get bad scores, but this is way outsie the stats and to hear others with the same problem, I wonder if there isn't a bot somewhere having a little fun.

Funny thing is, my current image is my second highest to score, so now my score is just the same ole, same ole average score!! My heart is not stopping when I hit the update button though it dropped first thing this morning when I saw how my score had plummeted overnight!

woooooooo hoooooooo.. This one may be my hi..... NOPE, I can't say it.. I'm not gonna say it.. I'll just keep hoping it stays.. Glad the joke is over.. It's only 9pm here.. I can't imagine what people have gone through tonight to stay up & witness the rebirth of their scores..

Well, I have watched my score drift downward - actually, I was gone all day and I see all the folks with April Fool's revenge were voting and giving low scores:)
Anyhow, my personal best is rapidly slipping away.

Unfortunately I've seen the same thing, the last 12 hours or so have been bad - seems like a school (swarm?) of "4" trolls have come thru recently. Personally I find it unethical and not in the spirit of DPC - but each individual has to live with their own behavior.

Well, I am delighted to say that I did end up with a new personal best from the still challenge. 6.9451 and 6th place made me pretty happy!

There were some wonderful images in this challenge - I was delighted to bounce up about .10 in the last 24 hours. Brookie, noisemaker, I found both of your images more interesting than mine. Congrats on some nice images!
