Originally posted by Ristyz: left back pocket with the car keys, passenger car seat or on the console, camera bag, jacket pocket, picnic table, the dirt at my feet, wherever.... I have trained myself to return it to it's resting place so I have only lost 3 so far! Lens cap leashes are a pita.
I 'do' keep filters on the lenses at all times skylight usually. If you think I am guilty of lens cap abuse you should see where I take the camera! Dirt arenas in windstorms often, sand dunes, gypsum dunes (white sands), underground coal mines..... (my 'L' lens got to skip that trip) |
Wow. Remind me not to buy a lens or body from Cristy! jk Although the coal mine sounds like a fun experience. |

I leave mine on the lens. Better than a filter and I never lose it. ;D

If I'm outside shooting it goes in a front pocket, or a jacket pocket if I'm wearing a jacket.
Inside it goes on a table nearby. |
