Went out looking for a nice location to shoot my Corte-jour and found the 4X National track and the contest is all happening THIS WEEKEND.. got a few shots of some kids trying the jumps out but the real stuff will be happening at the weekend so IF you like this kinda thing WATCH THIS SPACE

These were shot with a D100 (my D200 is still at Nikon) and the lens, believe it or not, was the 70-300VR wide open 70mm@f4.5 I also had my 17-35 f2.8 with me too and got some great shots with that.

Really looking forward to it now, just wish I was 25 years younger cos I'de be out there with them.

Ahhhh, but if you were out there with them you wouldn't be taking these wicked action shots of them.
