Are you talking about the disks that come with the camera? Picture Project ?

It would help if you'd list what you CAN see and what you WANT to see that apparently isn't there.

With my Nikon I got two discs, one with Picture Project on (which is useless) and the other with documentation for Picture Project. If you have Photoshop, then I wouldn't even bother with the software. |

Picture Project is not a great editing program. But it isn't totally useless. It still works great for transfering photos to your computer, It supports RAW. It has some very simple basic editing features. It does not offer the processing powers required to get a ribbon here at DPC but if all you want to do is get some nice prints of your photos It is a suitable program.

Yes the disk that I am looking at just shows how picture project works. I guess I need to look for another cd. The only reason I want nikons software is that the software I am using doesn't download jpegs and raw.
thanks, Jeremy |

There should be two disks that came with the camera. The Silver Disk is the documentation the Black Disk is the one you should be looking for. It has Picture Project and a few other programs which are mostly 30 day trials, I wouldnt bother installing anything except Picture Project.

I wish I could find my old CDs that came with my Nikon CoolPix S1 because it had a great program for stitching photos. I haven't been happy with the one that came with my Canon Rebel XTi. Anyone know where I can find that? |
