Just wondering if this image seems to be something that might be a candidate for trying to sell as a print. Not sure if it is something that some people might like. Does it seem to have any appeal? Got another question. Why are the views so high on this one. Just 4 weeks ago it was at around 117. Now it is up to 1948. Has anybody else had such an enormous surge on one of their images? I am afraid it is appearing on some website somewhere, but apparently it is still connected to dp, or it wouldn't have such a high counter. Does that happen, and is there anyway to find out if that is why it has climbed so much.

it is a very nice homey (is that a word?) shot but I'm not sure if it would sell as a print, I mean I can't imagine it hanging in my house even as nice as I think it is.

When I look at it, I think of an Norman Rockwell type painting/sketch so maybe doing some paint brush actions would make it more appealing.

I do think it would probably do ok in stock photography, it could fall into a lot of different business specs such as home insurance, home loans, retirement, etc.

As far as the hits counter, I'm not sure. There are MANY threads in the forumns about images being linked to other sites. Normally these are ok (in a sense) cause they aren't selling it, just linking it to here.

Good luck

Thanks for the comments. I do see the stock possibility, but did throw it out just to take a tone of opinions. Anyway, I will clean up some of the comments made by others, and then decide if I want to choose any further actions. Thanks to all your honest feedback.

I would hang it on my wall if it was my house in the picture. Otherwise the distracting faults mentioned and the fact that it has nothing to do with me would take away from the beautiful light and colours in the central portion of the photo to make it not interesting enough for me to ever purchase. I think the major portion of this photo is STUNNING ... but ...
