I can't wait, I finally got the chance to order a Hoya R72 infrared filter! I had gone to a local camera store that I heard a lot about and even though it is a really nice store they didn't carry any Hoyas (weird since I'm in Okinawa Japan and aren't Hoyas made in Japan?) and they also didn't have anything close to a digital infrared filter. He said he could only get me the regular film one (it was red) and it would take over a week to get..bummer :( since I want it for this weekend.

So I quickly rode my bike (ok so I had to walk it some but the wind in my face was too much for my weak legs to handle) back to my barracks and bought it (and a step up ring) from Video Camera Center on ebay. Got both for about $80 with shipping. (I didn't think about the step up ring until after I already finished the purchase and even though I emailed asking if they can send them together they are getting sent seperately instead of saving shipping cost...dang it.)

Anyway I got the email saying they have been shipped now lets see if they can make it faster than the 15days it suggested :(

Oh and judi, I've already gone through your tutorial once and have it saved as a fav for easy access. lol thanks it's a good one. I think this Okinawa landscape is really gonna let me take some cool stuff.
