I started with this: //www.photocritic.org/2007/300-style-photography/#more-705

Very nice...how did you get the green to come out so much?

In a new layer, did an Image, Adjustments, Color Balance, and tweaked the Shadow and Mid tones to suit, then in Hue/Saturation, adjusted the Yellow Hue to the right and dropped the brightness of it, then in Selective color adjustments, added black to the green and Yellows, adjusting blend opacity as a final, then added a warming filer (81), finally history brushing back anything not wanting to be changed along the edges. the snow on the tree to the left was whitened back back using the sponge tool in desaturation mode.
Well something like that anyway - was going for the 0.35¢ Post Card look..
;)

Now, I would say yes to your edit as my fave but the green is all over the bg now too... try erasing the bg out after you edit the greens so only the flowers will be affected :) It will take a while, but I promise it will be worth it... It's a nice colour on the petals though :)

Yeah I dont know why it did that. I only noticed it when I was looking downward at my monitor. Looking straigt ahead I cant see it. I need to get one of those thingies that configure my color resolution properly. grr

Terry I like your pic! Its "psychadelic" lol
