Found this movie the other day. This Jeep really holds up like a champ [man, that's an understatement].

Video Here

I wonder if my Subie would hold up that well?

I love my Wrangler. I'd give her the same sendoff if she were to have a terminal repair issue. I wish I had a video of my best friend and I in our Meeps out in the woods the other day getting muddy.... you boys would enjoy that. :)

Its a way to get the tire back on the rim, you light the falmmable fluid on fire and the combustion fills the tire with air quickly and sets it on the rim. I'm pretty sure this guy is using bug spray (thats a new one to me). Thats a muddin' trick, for when your in the woods and you TEAR a tire, you can mount a new one to the old rim this way, and blow it up pretty quick. I've only done it using a spare doughnut... but it works in a pinch with some practice.

edit to add: Um, have someone show you before you try this out in the woods though. You can blow up the new tire, or blow yourself up with the wrong fammible fluids. Dont use gasoline! ACK! At your own risk here! lol

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I was watching the first half thinking "I've done crazier stuff with my Discovery" (don't have it anymore). But then the second half came up... whoa! Those were some gnarly jumps!

Coolness! My family has been a Jeep family since before I was born. My dad used to take us mountain climbing in his Jeep; scared the piss out of me every time. I'm much kinder to my Jeep. The beach is about as adventurous as I get.

At first glance, I thought that was our Cherokee (off at college with my youngest son). It has been through places here in the mountains of Colorado I'm not sure I'd even walk through. My oldest son's CJ-5 is currently sitting in my driveway (and don't even ask what it's been through). We used to have a Grand Wagoneer. It was built like a tank and, in its old age, was the first vehicle for my 3 oldest children. It unfortunately met its demise on an icy mountain road (after said child was specifically told NOT to be there). It saved the child. I am absolutely sold on Jeeps.
