So, the rules state something to the effect of a "photo of a person using their cellular phone".

I wonder if the image is just the cell phone, but no person, if it will get voted down for DNMC? :-(

if you have access to a prototype of the iphone, people will look the other way... otherwise, the trolls will be on the prowl...

I don't blame them...I wouldn't want to look at that phone either! (IMHO, there is nothing ground-breaking with that phone, by the way) :-D

if I submit a black & white image for the Color Portrait challenge, should I wonder if it will get voted down?

For Pete's sake, Les, stick the phone to your ear and take a pic! Better yet, make it an underwater shot. :)

So, back on-topic...I have a couple of ideas for this challenge--however, they initially did not include a "person". I guess I can strategically place a person in the frame. ;-)

Algebra 101:
picture of a cellphone without a person using it + "capture an interesting photo of a person using their cellular phone" = DNMC = BAD
