Just wondering... is there such a thing as a perfect ten score??? what was the closest anyone ever came to it????

the site owner has the highest score ever on a particular photo,
i'll thumbnail it below for ya

but of course, that was in the old days ;)

I've given out a few tens. Unfortunately all were pulled down by voters for reasons unknown to me and, perhaps, unknown to them.

None of the "10s", however, were perfect. Perfection makes me shiver, and is not something I'd encourage.

Woooow!!

Not that I want to knock the photo, but that would never get that score nowadays. (or a challenge with only 20 entries!)

I totally agree, but I kept on wondering as I was seeing contest winners with 6s & 7s... I don't think I'm a terrible photographer myself, and it was a bit of a shock to pull out a four on my first entry.

It's the way the forum works, nothing against it, but it certainly made me wonder how close anyone had ever gotten to that "10" score...

you shouldn't voice that out too loudly, that photo belongs to the site owner, after all!

I would give it a 7
(mostly because it does not have an aurora borealis and a nude in frame)

What was I thinking?!?!?! I was looking out the window, crappy rainy day here in shanghai. You're right, it's the most awesomest, super dupest, crazyest, funkyest, creativest photo ever man!! It rocks.

Phhheeeeew. Now that should fix things up...

I likely wouldn't vote on it. It neither excites nor offends. I'd rather pick my nose.

I tend not to give out 10s. But that's just how I was raised in photography. My Photo teachers never gave anything higher than a 98% (except one 99% EVER). I've given out only one 9; generally I'll rate a very good photo a 7 and sometimes an 8. Maybe I'm harsh??

Oh, and I'd give that pool photo either a 6 or a 7 (let's say a 6.5).

you know that is so funny that the highest picture on this site was taken by a camera that is only a 1.92MP camera. ughhhh my sony 3.1 doesn't even take a clean shot image like his.

Looks like I'm harsher than you are... I'd give it a 6. Creative concept but still snapshot because of lighting, sharpness and whatnot...

I just gave out a buttload of 10's for crossdressing entries - great job crossdressers!

For some reason I'm thinking "buttload" and "crossdressing" don't belong or shouldn't be used in the same sentence.
