| Mistakingly, I tried to put an EF-S lens on my 5d.I soon became aware that it was a different mount (duh). When I remounted my regular lens I realized that I had done something bad. Looking through the viewfinder I now see mostly black with a center circle of viewable area. I can also make out some parts inside the camera. I did not use force and did not try very long or hard to put the wrong lens on, but obviously I did enough. Any ideas or experiences? |

| I believe an EF-S lens protrudes more into the camera than the regular EF lenses. There is probably damage to the mirror. |
