Last Saturday, Kirk Strickland and I went down to the Best of the West Lacrosse Tournament in Las Vegas. We spent two days of shooting, selling on site as well as through our (Kirk's) website.

There were four of us (photographers). Here is a small sampling of the nearly 7000 pictures that I took while I was there:

These were shot with my 20D using a rented Canon 100-400mm lens. I really liked the quality of the images that I got out of this lens. The only downside is that it is a push-pull zoom lens (also, it's f/4-5.6 and I would like it to have been faster).

Just thought I'd point out that this one was taken AFTER the sun had gone down. Shooting at ISO 1600 with a shutter speed of 1/40th of a second! :-)

Boy, you're not a kiddin'. That's what has taken me so long to decide what to post. Every time I'd start into it, I'd decide to put it of for another night. Well ... my wife is at work tonight so, with nothing better to do, here they are! :-)
