1991 Ferrari 348 TS
25,000 Miles
Price Tag = 42,000
The sun was coming in from behind so sorry for the bad pictures.

They Moved the Shelby GT500 and the Black Shelby to make way for this pile. Its had its 15,000 mile engine out overhaul already and its 5 year Overhaul after that as well.

Dang! I could've bought a Ferrari with what my SUV cost! Might be hard to fit a booster seat in there though. ;-) |

Come on by im sure we can fit you into a Shelby GT500. It does have a full back seat. We could say knock 25,000 worth of markup off its pricetag and sell it to you for say 44,500?

It costs a lot more than the initial price to own a car like that. A LOT more. |

Every 5 Years or 15,000 Miles the engine is dropped for lube tune, and depending a full work up.
In all actuality even if you got your parts for free and paid straight mechanic labor rate at 40 an hour instead of 90 an hour ford charges god knows what ferrari dealers charge.
It's the labor alone on this configuration that kills you. Alot of the work cant be done with the engine in the car. Espcially on say a Porsche Boxster. Cheap 49-55,000 dollar Porsche but the parts and labor will cost u the same as a full bown GT2.
Now add ferrari mechanics labor rate + dealer overhead jackup, plus parts plus markup on that.

How dare they move such sweet cars for this thing! Is kind of nice but I really think I'd take the shelbys over it anyday. That has always been one of my dream cars.
Nice images spite the sun. |
