As some of you have no doubt noticed, I have started collecting US and UK photography collections (see the link in my signature). I am doing the UK because I live here, and the US because.. Well.. it is a large market. Then I suddenly realised that there is no reason for why I cannot add more markets as well; Australia sprung to mind in particular. I don't actually have time to collect Oz competitions, but if someone else feels the urge to help me out, feel free to contact me, and I can add Australia as one of the segments.

Suggestions? Feedback? FLoggings?

Bring it on ;)

Aus-Photographers.net does a monthly competition which is judged by Professional Photojournalists and also has a "people's choice" judging section as well. It's still a young site which on average attracts less than 30 entrants each comp. Also a place where you can post photos and they are looking at trying to make it like a stock photography site as well.

I went to "Aus-Photographers.net" and ended up at WarBirdz.net - a photography site specifically devoted to planes. Did I do something wrong?

They are run by the same person try the .com version too.

www.aus-photographers.com

When you go to the competition page you will see that it says "TBA". I spoke to the hosts and they have told me the current comp for July is "water". They just haven't gotten to update the page yet.
