Trying my hand at restoring Oldies. I don't really know if this is any good. Can you guys take a look and let me know if there is anything else I can do with this??

Before... and after...

Thanks a bunch!

As far as my opinion is concerned ... you did an EXCELLENT job restoring this photo execpt that I would have liked to see the original sepia tone maintained ...

Thanks Greetmir...That certainly is an option I 'm thinking of. Here's what I have in mind... I have a bunch of those from my town. I'd like to shoot at the same places with, as much as possible, the same compositions. ( I need to wait for spring or summer... Too much snow), and I'd like to do them in diptychs. So I'm waiting to get those pics to finalise the restorations, and depending on the new pics, I'll get to decide if I put back the sepia or not.
Thanks for the input!!!

Edit to add... I'll also be looking into who the original photographer is, you know, to check for copyright and permissions.

I think it's a great effort! In reference to Greetmir's comment about the sepia, quite often if I restore an old photo I'll do a sepia version and a B&W. I think it's nice to offer up something similar to the original tones as well as a B&W version. It's good for my own experience too with Photoshop!
