Any recommendations? I will be staying on Michigan Avenue, probably able to go to other areas but would be nice to visit some in the centre area.
I want to buy a lens and portable lighting system :) |

Central Camera (the website doesn't seem to be working), is Chicago's oldest camera shop. It's not a big shop, but has the added advantage that it is located in the downtown (Loop) area.
Calumet is awesome, but is not in a very easy to find location (if you are not familiar with the city at least).
Then there is also Helix Camera. They are located just outside of the loop.

| Thanks Spazmo99 & Salmiakki, I will find it for sure, been to Chicago before and had no problems finding my way. It's always good to have an idea from a local which shops are best, thanks :) |
