| MattO the 14th at the Zoo sounds like a plan to me. I should be able to make it. Unless i come up Fri nite the 10am time sounds better to me. As far as stopping to feed the little one that no problem as long as it get to eat too. I am always ready to eat and know all about taking care of the little ones. Been there done that. I for one would like to stay and shoot some down town Sat evening so if anyone else is interested let me know. |

| I am ok with that date but as I will be driving in from KC I would prefer 10 instead of 9 but I can just find the group when I get there too. I probably won't stay till Sunday but I will stay until Sat. evening. |

This sounds like fun! If I can, I'd love to meet up there! Especially the zoo! I'm not sure about opening day though, I don't think you can even find tickets for those days.
So, for now, count me in!

As life always goes...my camera club decided to have a spring picnic, and of course chose April 14. Now I have to make a decision! I will post whatever I decide.
Griz, I just got the picnic info yesterday and it will be in the next newsletter. Now you have a decision to make also! |

Its the first I've heard of it. Count me in! Anytime, anywhere. Keep me updated though, cause I don't want to miss a thing.

I have sent PM's to everyone tonight to try and verify who will be coming or not. I've also been eyeing the weather and it looks like rain all weekend. Are we going to have a rain date? My sons wheelchair is not a good match for rain even if my gear is.

Hmmm.....well, I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to a rain date. I could personally do just about any other saturday in April, or any saturday after the second weekend in May.
But I'm really looking forward to this and willing to brave a little drizzle for the chance to meet you all. Though I certainly understand how anything much more than a drizzle causes several complications.

Oh if its just a drizzle or a an occasional shower it wont be a problem for us, and please dont plan on cancelling just for our case. I know alot of folks are going to travel a long way to get here. We just cant put my sons powerchair through alot of rain if we dont have too. I can always make another if the rain is too bad. We will likely come up anyway, just may participate in only the indoor stuff, we will play it by ear. I still havent heard back from the majority of the attendee's.

| If I could get my hands on a regular chair, would that help? My sister in-law is in a wheelchair too and has one of each. Possibly I could work out something for a mechanical chair in case of rain. |

Thanks for the offer, we do have a medical stroller that we used before the insurance company bought the chair. If it came down to not being there or being there and dealing with the chair, we will likely be there anyway there just seems to be such a hassle with trying to keep things dry, and my son is kind of compulsive/obsessive worrying about his chair. Its a long story but get to know his quirks and you will understand. LOL I'm hoping for some decent weather I want to go shooting with you folks.

Weather forcast is looking better at least no rain. And remember they have a great insectarium at the zoo! Bring your macro lens for the Insect challenge thats this week! We should be there, I still havent heard from everyone I sent PM's too. Those that still plan on being there contact me or post in the thread!!!!
See you all saturday 10am at the South entrance! Remember its free to get in and parking can be free or $10 depending on where you park.
