How are ties broken? Wayne and Ben had the exact same score down to the last decimal place (988 pts after 137 votes). Ben got the yellow, Wayne got the red. Why?

I think both of them should get the second place in this challenge. As of now, the only criteria is overall score!
That may also help me get the third place!!

they both did an excellent job with the photographs - but if you just pull up the challenge entries showing ghe votes per commenters with and without cameras - Wayne had higher scores in votes ... congrats to everyone :)

And Ben had more 10s... There are lots of ways to slice this cake, I just don't know how it's decided. It wasn't even alphabetical order by K and W. lol

weird... at first I thought maybe it was just rounded to the same number but one score was actually higher... but it actually is a tie.

If it's actually a tie, then I think 2 red ribbons would be the right solution ...

It's definitely a tie... if you add up the points they accumulated, they both have 988 points, divided by 137 votes for each...

It's a pure tie :)

I think DPC needs to adopt a procedure for ties, ie. the first to submit. Since there is currently no such procedure in place, at least none that I can find in the rules, it is only fair to give two red ribbons IMO.

No official word, but I see that Ben and Wayne both got red at the end of the day. (the right choice)
