I went to enjoy the Chinese New Year (Year of the Boar) celebration in San Francisco and pretty much learned that I don't know enough about shooting in low light. :(
In any case, I did my best (learned quite a bit) and uploaded a few pics. see collection).
Comments would be much appreciated, if you are so inclined. Thanks!

Also, a question: I'd switched my camera settings to vivid, hoping I would bring the photos to life a bit more, but I think the effect was too intense and I'm having trouble toning it down without compromising the overall affect. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I was discouraged about going simply because of the low light and lack of parking (I know, I'm lame). We should gtg one weekend just to do a shoot in Chinatown, might be fun :)
