Your 28-105 has a nice range... but you'll really like the sharpness of the 24-70 2.8L. Plus, Canon's cameras focus faster/more accurately with a 2.8 lens.
So go ahead.... everybody's doin' it! :-)

By the way, if anyone cares to look around at the "rest" of the images (instead of just the few that I picked out to post here on DPC), you can find the couple's online portfolio here.
I had three cameras running. My daughter cassilda_terry took the Getting Ready pictures, and both she and Skyler skylercall helped out with the wedding.
My website will show you the EXIF data at the bottom of the images (after you click to view the larger image).
Quick legend: Photos ending with 'A' were taken by me, photos ending with 'B' were taken by Cassie using the 20D during the wedding (later, by me for candids), and photos with a 'C' were taken by Skyler.

Great that you have the exif info.. that will be interesting to see how you shoot.
<-- headed off to look and scrutinize all your photos and check out their exif info.

a series of good photos - too sharp i would say though. not sure if that's a lightroom full res resized or resized and sharpened more.
the people seem to look like mannequins in the few posted to the thread.

Oh, boy. Our taste radically disagrees here, matey. |

is that a first?
that's fine, but doesn't mean i can't state mine...
my comment had nothing to do with the photos themselves - and i thought i pointed that out. i was, however, curious how the sharpening was applied...

this one stood out as un-flattering to me.

Great shots (as usual) Terry! I'm sure they are more than happy with them. Thanks for posting! I'll check out the Lightroom, sounds nice. |

It looked like he lost a little control of the excellent lighting on that one, indeed.

I have no idea, I don't keep score on who I agree with, normally :) You're welcome to state your opinion; my expression was given in a little bit of shock that something I thought was REALLY good would be drastically less than that to someone else. I guess that's why my average score is barely over a 5, huh?? Nothing personal intended, be cool :) |

the lighting would be my fault, since i was holding the flash in the air.... so that settles it. |
