First of all, gracias to all of you who sent greats suggestions for places to check out on our short trip to Seattle.
My husband and I had a lot of fun. I got to say, my favorite was heading up to Whidbey Island, over Deception Pass and heading back via ferry.
Rain was predicted that weekend, but instead we got cool skies, amazing views and incredible clouds.
I've posted some of the photos I took during this 3-day weekend sojourn:

Wow! You did get alot in in just three days. But there is still much more to see when you can venture further afield. Mt.Baker and Mt. Rainier come to mind. Hope you make it back again and glad you enjoyed your trip.

NICE photos! I am away from the area at the moment and your pics made me homesick!
JB is a friend of mine and you should trust him completely. Come back! And venture further afield.
Did you make it up to Salish Lodge? |

Yes, we did make it up to Salish – I got the yummiest scallop meal, ever.
I would definitely try to come back for another weekend getaway, perhaps this summer. I̢۪m taking my camelback with me this time :)
