I have put together a gallery on my website. I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions on the layout and ease of use, etc. There are only a handfull of photos there now, will be adding more soon. Thanks.

I like the simplicity and use of colours. Your portfolio link (from //www.mateov.com/photo.htm to //www.mateov.com/photo/portfolio.htm) does not seem to work, otherwise okay

I liked the touches with the thumbnails as rollovers etc.

Good work, my friend!

Thanks SharQ. Yeah, I don't have a portfolio page yet. I guess I should take the link out.

You should update the "Order Prints" link to the new format that includes your name so you get the referral credit.

i think the layout is simple and stylish. well done. My only suggestion, is that the whole page is usually slightly larger than the screen, requiring some scrolling to the last inch or so. You might want to take out a break
between the photo and the menu at the bottom, so that no scrolling is needed to see the last little bit on a few of them

I'm not keen on the pink of the highlighting, i know it matches the text colouring but I just don't think it works

also, you need a back button between the galleries.

I see all the pages are HTML, its gonna make it ahrder to update as you'll need to make a new page for each photo.

I made my gallery in PHP so its all dynamic and easily updateable.

I made my album with gallery. And the other page with coppermine.

I've looked at that gallery software. It seems very convenient. Is it completely customizable or do you have to stick with that basic layout? I eventually would like to automate the proccess of uploading images, possibly with php as cbonsall suggested, but I'm still a novice when it comes to that stuff.

Thanks for the helpful comments everyone.

Take a look at the gallery homepage they have some links to userpages with various layouts.
Both gallery and coppermine work with tables so you can customize quite a bit. And if you can write php you can customize it all you want.

I agree that you need a back button or links to the other galleries. I also don't particularly like the blank spot when you first open that page(where a photo should be).

I guess I hid the link back too well! If you click on the "photofolio" graphic it will take you back to the start. I agree that I need something instead of the white space. Thanks.
