Can anyone provide me with some info on putting together a contract for a wedding. If anyone has a template that they wouldn't mind sharing that would be much appreciated too.

Thanks DPC folk.

There are lots of them out there, but you should be careful. Most such agreements are covered under state and local laws, so what is a valid contract in one area, may be full of holes, or completely invalid in another. e.g. In some states, something called a deposit cannot be non-refundable. So if you were to accept what your contract calls a "non-refundable deposit" to save a date for a bride, and you turn away other couples for that same day, then the bride cancels the day before. Guess what? She's legally entitled to a refund of the whole deposit.

My advice is to put one together using examples you find, then have a contract lawyer review it. That won't be free, but it could save you from losing money or, worse, being in a lawsuit and having the parts of your contract that were protecting you declared invalid.
