| Im trying to "hack" a non-online flash game just for fun, i just wanna change my points and stuff, but i dont know how to use cheat engine well. Perhaps someone can teach me how to use it better |

| Why not just use photoshop to "adjust" your totals on a screen capture? |

you need to find the game code somewhere - and with flash you will probably need a flash authoring program...
find a line which says something like:
start_health = 100
and just change the number. Not sure how the game was compiled but even on "proper" games there is often a file like that somewhere and it is in text format. |

ok i have the game opened with the flash decompiler, im not sure how to locate the file i need. If it helps the game im working on is Towers
Im trying to get more money right now, can someone take a crack at it and explain what i need to do? |

hehe - i got to the last level of that score = 3833
I reckon i can beat it with a bit of brinkmanship and forethought :)
here i go again ;) |

| ok, first if you know your health, type it in under the "value" section. Then, click "First Scan" should come up with a bunch of numbers, let yourself get hit once, pause hte game, and type in the new HP that you have in Value and hit "Next Scan" should only come up with 2 or 3, if it has more, repeat last steps. Now once you found it, set the HP from the address to the bottom box and click it and hit "Enter" should say enter new value, type 9999 and then hit "Freeze" now you have infinite HP. Congrats.
